Albinism is an innate melanin deficiency that results in a lack of skin color, hair, fur and iris in the eye. In humans, there is one albino in 20,000 newborns. Strangely, in Africa, South of the Sahara, they are born much more often. It is also interesting to note that not only people can be albino – animals can also be albino. It’s probably not easy being a white tiger, a white owl or a white giraffe in the wild.
Bright Side found 23 albino animals that are actually very rare. So, this is your chance to see them.
